Studio AS is an interior design firm that specializes in historical renovations and luxury new build construction projects.  Our approach to design is to create homes that are as stylish and refined as they are effortless and comfortable.  Based in Chicago,  Abir creates a mix between new and old, vintage and contemporary, edgy and soft, to strike a balanced dialogue between elements.

Abir has been an interior designer for the past decade, completing her design education at the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  She then worked for Wendy Labrum Interiors, a 1STDibs 50 in design, as the Design Director.  It was there she developed a comprehensive understanding of textiles, scale, antiques and custom designed furniture.

Abir lives with her husband and two boys.  As a mother,  she believes that homes need to be practical and functional, yet aesthetically alive to inspire for years to come.
