SOUTH LOOP PENTHOUSE
I wanted a space that was contemporary yet still invoked a sense of traditional Americana that I was accustomed to growing up in Chicago. The concrete ceilings paired with the painted moldings and paneling along the walls, the traditional fireplace mixed with edgy Italian marble- it was a marriage between French antiques, mid century Italian seating and traditional elements in American architecture. I wanted the space to feel calm and escape the chaos of the city- a place of respite.
